CS GO FPS FIX CS GO FRAME TEARING FIX FPS BOOST ATI, AMD, INTEL, NVIDIA, LAPTOP CS GO FPS FIX

THE CS GO FPS DROP FIX 100%

After spending over 2 weeks in research I have found the fix for the CS:GO FPS DROPS.
If your anything like me you like getting straight to the point so lets do this fellow gamers!

(The steps shown below are to be followed precisely every single thing is needed to be done you have to do if you tried EVERYTHING and have not gained FPS)

STEP 1: DELETE CS:GO
Right click on Counter Strike: Global Offensive then click on Delete Local Content

Step 2: DOWNLOAD SLIM DRIVERS

http://download.cnet.com/SlimDrivers-Free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html
Update EVERY DRIVER it finds on there. (SOUND CARD AND VIDEO CARD MOST IMPORTANTLY)

Step 3: START DISK DEFRAGMENTER
click on Defragment disk

Step 4: INSTALL CS:GO TO YOUR PRIMARY HARD DRIVE! IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SOLID STATE DRIVE YOU SHOULD GET ONE IT HELPS FPS ALOT!

Step 5: ATI OR NVIDIA USERS DO THIS AFTER THE GAME IS INSTALLED:

OPEN UP NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL

  • Firstly open up NVidia Control Panel by right clicking icon next your time stamp.
  • if you don’t have a NVidia Control Panel icon on the place so you must go to your Windows Control Panel > Display Settings > NVidia Control Panel
  • CS GO Fps is the issue, after you find the Manage 3D Settings. There is two side of application ” Global Settings ” and ” Program Settings “
  • For CS GO Fps it’s not much to do with Global Settings so we will be Tweaking CS GO under Program Settings.
  • Select Counter-Strike: Global Offensive > Under Program Settings.
  • İf there is no CS: GO under Program Settings, Go add by section and find the way to your cs go folder. it’s like this on my machine “ C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive “

Tweaking NVidia Settings for Boosting CS GO FPS

There are 18 sections to select what to do. What are these sections for cs go fps and what are they related to. Contrary to common belief people sets all settings to be set off, off and off. This is not the graphic card developers up to. Why are we using drivers? If we will set the hole settings to off. There are some good sections to be set” On” for CS GO Fps…

CS GO FPS SETTINGS FOR NVIDIA

  • Ambient Occlusion – This option makes the edges brighter, in game if we need more fps. Set to ” Performance “
  • Anisotropic Filtering – is about image quality of surfaces. Set to” Application Control” we must set always to Application Control if it’s available in game.
  • Antialiasing FXAA - About smoothing edges. “ On “
  • Antialiasing Gamma Correction – Only supported 7800+ series. It makes color quality improvement. For CS GO FPS I recommend it to be ” On “
  • Antialiasing Mode – You already learned about Antialiasing. And this allows how Antialiasing will be used. Set to ” Application Control “
  • Antialiasing Setting – This is known as cascade effect and used to lowering this effect. High levels can reduce cs go fps. Set to ” Application Control “
  • Antialiasing Transparency – Improving transparent textures. Help CS GO Fps by Setting ” Multisampling “
  • CUDA – GPUs – Determination of which GPU will be used including PhysX system. Set to ” All or Can set to Primary Display “
  • Maximum pre-rendered frames – if you have a weak computer and a cpu this option will put too much on your cpu and must Set to ” 1 “
  • Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration – for more than 1 monitor usage it’s not for weak computers so must Set to ” Single display performance mode “
  • Power management mode – it’s not available in further updates. if you have so Set to ” Adaptive “
  • Preferred refresh rate – Refresh rate influences the game play so much and the cs go fps we must have at least 100 Hz for gaming. in all circumstances must Set to ” Highest Available “
  • Texture filtering – Anisotropic sample optimization - This section only works for the programs which are related to DirectX and works for the pixel edges to be nicer. For the best performance Set to ” On ”
  • cs-go-fps-settings
    CS GO Settings

  • Texture filtering – Negative LOD bias – Improvement about cascades near edges. Set to ” Allow “
  • Texture filtering Quality – İts about to select Quality or Performance in game. What are we in CS:GO ? Of course ” Performance “
  • Texture filtering – Trilnear optimization - if you want the highest quality graphics and/or you are experiencing texture glitches you should set this option to Off. Set to “ On “
  • Threaded optimization – CS GO Fps needs multiple CPU s if have one or not Set to ” On “
  • Triple buffering – This is well done with if V-Sync is applied as On if not there is nothing to do much if you have low video card ram! you must turned it off strongly. Set to ” Off “
  • Vertical Sync – Prevents horizontal tearing by improving image quality, We need CS GO FPS to be on best Performance so Set to ” Off “

Step 6: SET LAUNCH OPTIONS
-freq 144 -refresh 144 -processheap -novid -nojoy -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -high -tickrate 128 -threads 4 -nod3d9ex -noaafonts +mat_queue_mode 2 +exec autoexec +mat_vignette_enable 0

Step 7:  Open Console type fps_max 0 then go to your video settings in game
Multicore Rendering +50FPS for me.
STEP 7: VERY IMPORTANT!!!
GO TO THIS DIRECTORY
Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg and edit:
video.txt
Inside there, change the following commands to how I have them or copy and paste the settings beolow. If you copy and paste them any missing commands will automatically be added by the game (For example, I do not include the commands for the screen resolution since not all people have the same screen proportions or they may want to use a higher or lower resolution.(Generally, the lower the #, the lower the quality settings. In two cases [vsyc/triple buffer] 1=on 0=off):
"config"
{
    "setting.mat_software_aa_strength" "1"
    "setting.fullscreen" "1"
    "setting.nowindowborder" "0"
    "setting.aspectratiomode" "1"
    "setting.mat_vsync" "0"
    "setting.mat_triplebuffered" "0"
    "setting.mat_monitorgamma" "2.200000"
    "setting.mat_queue_mode" "-1"
    "setting.mat_motion_blur_enabled" "0"
    "setting.cpu_level" "0"
    "setting.videoconfig_version" "1"
    "setting.mem_level" "0"
    "setting.gpu_level" "0"
    "setting.mat_antialias" "0"
    "setting.mat_forceaniso" "0"
    "setting.mat_grain_scale_override" "1"
}
NOTE: TURNING VSYNC ON WILL CAUSE INPUT LAG! ONLY USE IT IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO

Step 8: START CS:GO AND OWN SOME NOOBS!

MY FPS WENT FROM 60-70 to a solid 200-350FPS

STEP 9: THIS NEXT PART IS FOR LAPTOP GAMERS ONLY!!!

Which power plans are best for a Laptop in different usage situations. When your Laptop is plugged to a power source, you may not notice any difference in the Laptop’s performance. But when in Battery mode, you will or must have observed the decrease in the laptop’s performance level. Specially when you are playing games. Most of the present day games require a moderate to high end hardware configuration (depending upon the graphic requirement of the game) and requires all the resources the hardware can give for smooth rendering and playing.
All Laptops by default are configured for a “Balanced Power Plan” when in Battery mode, mainly to save battery and configured for optimum performance and not for“High performance”.
Do you play games ? if your answer is yes, than you must have observed sudden drop in your laptop’s performance. When the Laptop is in Battery mode. Game rendering becomes slow and may even freeze frames, or your laptop may just stop responding.
If you are a Gamer, than you need to configure your Laptop’s power plan for “High Performance” to be able to play your games even in battery mode without any performance loss.
So how to configure your Laptop for “High Performance” Power plan for gaming laptop:
  • Go to Control Panel and select “Power Options
  • You will see this information. Laptop’s by default are configured for a “Balanced” Recommended power configurations.
Power Plan for Gaming Laptop
  • Click on the radio button “High Performance” than click on the “Change Plan settings” and you will see the following options, this is optional but just to be sure you can check here too.
Power Plan for Gaming Laptop
  • Here make sure that the tab says “High Performance”[Active] and on the list of menus “On Battery” is highlighted (selected). Than click OK and you are done.
  • Your Laptop is now configured for High Performance, so you won’t notice any performance loss when playing your games even on battery mode. You can save this settings as power plan for gaming laptop.
FINISHED ALL OF YOU GO ENJOY YOUR NEW FPS!!!! - Skitz0

  4. vsync is a great tool in combination with triple buffer. Mouse lag goes away if you input fps_max 59.
Most displays (laptops especially) have shitty pannels with max 60 hz. If you max to 300 it will page tear like hell and will look terrible. Smooth movement with no page tear beats high fps.

  5. It can be easier. Professional players set up their computers as needed for the game. You can simply take their settings (source, for example http://csgopedia.com/csgo-pro-setups/ )
